Who We Are
Dr Aileen Caballero Franco
Co-Owner • Lead Hygienist • Heart of the Practice
Aileen Caballero Franco is the co-owner and lead hygienist at Hollywood Plaza Dental Center—and the warm, familiar face that makes patients feel right at home. She earned her dental degree from La Universidad del Zulia (LUZ) in Venezuela in 2007, spending over a decade delivering care to underserved communities in the Maracaibo region before relocating to the United States in 2015.
Since then, Aileen has continued to lead with compassion, skill, and a deep dedication to patient comfort. She’s known for her gentle touch, calming presence, and ability to turn every visit into a positive, personal experience. When she’s not in the office, Aileen and her husband, Dr. Amador, are busy raising their four children, enjoying the outdoors, and sharing the same commitment to family at home as they do in their practice.
Dr. Sara Mercado

Passion & Patient-Centered Care
Born and raised in Valencia, Venezuela, Sarah Mercado graduated in 2014 from the University of José Antonio Páez, where she earned her dental degree before completing post-doctorate training in orthodontics, implantology, and oral surgery. After moving to the U.S. in 2019, she brought her clinical expertise and dedication to patient care into her work as an orthodontic assistant before officially becoming a licensed dental hygienist.
Sarah is known for her detailed approach, gentle hands, and genuine care for every patient she meets. She’s currently pursuing her dream of becoming a U.S. citizen, while continuing to grow her career in the country she now calls home. When she’s not in the office, you’ll likely find her enjoying a lively game of paddle with her husband or spending quality time with their young
